Hot Beans Web
A fictional client, a real brief, a full website.
A multi-page website built for "Hot Beans", a software development company, covering everything from careers and team pages through to an application form backed by PHP.

The brief
Build a site to meet a client's requirements.
Hot Beans Web began as coursework for a Level 3 BTEC National Foundation Diploma in Information Technology, Unit 6, Learning Aim C, developing a website to meet a fictional client's brief.
The client, "Hot Beans", is framed as a software developer looking to hire, so the site needed to work as both a company presence and a recruitment tool: explaining who they are, what they do, and why someone should want to work there.
Rather than a single landing page, the brief called for a proper multi-page site with real navigation between sections, plus a working application form for visitors who wanted to apply.
What's actually on the site

Two versions, one brief
Built, reviewed, then rebuilt.
The repository holds two full builds of the site side by side, showing how the design and structure moved on between drafts.
HotBeansWeb
The original build, submitted as the first pass at meeting the brief.
HotBeansWeb2
A revised build with refined layout and content across the same pages.
There's also a longer write-up of the project on my personal blog, covering the thinking behind the second build in more detail.
